Free one-click migration

Switching hosts is the worst part. So we do it for you.

You stay stuck on your current host because moving everything is painful. Nxeon makes it one click: we scan your old server, auto-detect your whole stack, and bring it over — installed, imported, and running. No database passwords. No downtime on your old server. Free.

Connect your old server

Read-only. We never store your credentials.

SSH port22
Userroot
Scan my server

No agent to install. Nothing changes on this server.

How it works

From old host to live on Nxeon

Four beats, and only the first one needs you. Connect once, then watch the scan, the click, and the bring-up happen.

Step 1

Connect your old server

Point us at your current host with its SSH details. That's the whole setup — no agent to install, and we never store your credentials.

Step 2

We scan & detect everything

A read-only scan finds your files, home dirs, databases, Docker containers and running apps — with sizes — so nothing gets left behind.

Step 3

One click to migrate

We install the prerequisites, copy everything to the same paths, import your databases, and bring your containers and services up.

Step 4

Live on Nxeon

We verify what's actually running and hand you a clear list of anything that needs a manual touch. Your old server never changes.

What the one click actually does

Your whole stack, moved and running

Not a folder-copy tool. Nxeon detects the real shape of your server and rebuilds it on the other side — and we tell you exactly what needs a manual touch instead of pretending it's a perfect clone.

Auto-detects everything

A read-only SSH scan finds your site files, home directories, databases, Docker containers, Compose projects and the apps listening on your ports — no manual inventory.

No database passwords needed

We dump MySQL, MariaDB and PostgreSQL using root on the source over local sockets — so your databases come across without you digging up a single credential.

Prerequisites installed for you

Your new server is prepared automatically — Docker Engine + Compose, the database engines you use, nginx or Apache, and the runtimes your apps need. No setup checklist.

Same paths, brought up running

Files land at their original locations, databases are imported, Docker Compose projects are started, and services are re-enabled — so it comes up the way it did before.

Storage & compatibility checks

We size everything up front and read the source's OS and CPU architecture, so incompatible or over-capacity moves are flagged before they start — not halfway through.

Your old server is untouched

The whole scan and copy is read-only on the source. Nothing on your current host changes — verify on Nxeon first, and only cut your DNS over when you're happy.

No overclaiming

We start everything we can — and flag the rest

Most stacks come up clean. But we won't pretend a migration is magic: after the move, we verify what's actually running and hand you a short, specific list of anything that needs one manual step. Nothing hidden, nothing left silently broken.

Handled automatically vs. flagged

  • Files & home dirs copied to the same paths
  • MySQL, MariaDB & PostgreSQL dumped and imported
  • Docker volumes copied, Compose projects brought up
  • Prerequisites installed, services re-enabled
  • !Hand-built systemd units & one-off containers — flagged
  • !Different-CPU-architecture binaries — flagged, OS matched
FAQ

The questions everyone asks before switching

Do I need my database passwords?

No. We dump MySQL, MariaDB and PostgreSQL using root access on your old server over its local socket, so your databases migrate without you finding or sharing any DB credentials.

Will my old server be affected?

No. The scan and the copy are strictly read-only on the source — we only read your files and dump your databases. Nothing on your current host is changed, stopped, or deleted, and it keeps serving traffic until you switch your DNS.

What about Docker?

We detect your running containers, named volumes and Compose projects, copy the volume data, and run docker compose up -d on the new server to bring them back up. Standalone containers started by hand can need a manual re-run — and we tell you exactly which.

What if my old server runs a different OS?

We read the source's OS and CPU architecture during the scan and flag it up front. Where the architecture differs (so binaries won't match), we surface it rather than silently shipping something that won't run — and can provision a matching OS on Nxeon.

Is it really free?

Yes — migration is free. There's no per-gigabyte fee and no migration surcharge. You only pay for the Nxeon server you keep running afterward, and you can run the migration as many times as you need.

Does everything come across perfectly?

We're honest here: we start everything we can — files, databases, Compose stacks, services — and verify what's actually running. Anything unusual (a hand-built systemd unit, a one-off container, a different-arch binary) is listed clearly so you know the exact remaining step, or our team can take it from there.

Stop putting off the move. Bring it all over in one click.

Migration is free and your old server keeps running the whole time. Connect it, scan it, and see your whole stack come up on Nxeon — with nothing to lose.
